PureNRG recently released their first CD entitled pureNRG. The group which is comprised of Carolyne Myers (11), Jordan Yates (14), and Caroline Williams (11). The trio entered dance competitions, participated in school plays but all that brought them to the place where they met at a dance studio. The group worked hard and participated in dance and singing lessons and were given a great opportunity when Norman Miller who is known for managing Casting Crowns, Jump5, and Nichole Nordeman decided that the group had something.

Now they are living their dream. Currently on tour in a city near you with a mission to make music with a positive influence on today's youth culture. In a world where music talks about violence, sex, and drugs, the music of PureNRG encourages the youth culture with songs that are uplifting and encouraging while educating and promote Christian values for young people.

Their new cd has 11 tracks including:

* 360 - a very upbeat fun dance song about how it's a 360 revolution. This song has a Radio Disney feel to it but is very fun and the kids love it.

* Live My Life For You - This song talks about living your life for Christ and how I wouldn't rather do anything but live my life for you. It's got a good beat, catchy lyrics and solid vocals.

* What If- What if I was....cheerleader, rock star, astronaut, President, and how you can be anything with God's love you can strive to be whatever you feel He's called you to be. It's a sort of hip hop type song. Good message and one more positive song reminding you that with God's love anything is possible.

* Pray is the next track - Reminding you to take time and talk to go through all matters. That God is the one who will help you see clearly when you pray to him. It's a slower song with a little bit of a beat but not much. Another key song on this album!

* When I Get To Heaven - This song talks about when we get to heaven how we are going to have a party and how it's going to be awesome to spend time with Jesus.

* Thy Word - This song is a remake of the Amy Grant classic. Very well done and great vocals and arrangement on this one. One of my favorites on the record.

* This Madness - Up beat song how God knows what we want to be and how he makes sense of the madness of our lives. It's a good ballad with a beat.

* Footloose - Fun up and dance music. Makes you want to just get up and dance!

* One Word - This song talks about how when we help one another and love another things fall into place. It's a bit slower but a good song with a great message.

* Someday - How some day someone is going change your life and make you smile, steal your heart, and make your life brand new. It's definitely the slowest song on the album. A good song about how GOd makes us laugh smile, and makes our life and dreams new.

* Summertime - Talks about hanging out and having fun. It's another slower song, it's got a Miley Cyrus feel to it but still good.

* It's Still Love - Good song about how love makes the world a better place. Great beat, fun, and a great closer to the album.

I can tell you in listening to this album that it was the most positive encouraging album I have heard in a long time. Every song was uplifting and encouraging. The vocals are very rich and the beat is very fun and makes you move and groove. The group reminds me of a young Jump5. They have a great blend and are extremely talented for their ages. We are definitely going to be hearing more from them in the future.
